I found the inflexible table seating policy disappointing. It felt like being treated as if in a prison or school, where guests staying in more expensive rooms were given priority and I was asked to only sit at the assigned table. This overshadowed what could have been an amazing stay, as the food and service were satisfactory. However, the rigid adherence to policies really tarnished the overall impression of the hotel. A more empathetic approach from staff would greatly improve the overall experience for all guests.

Great, but short stay
We only stayed one night while coming back from a longer trip, but I'm glad we picked this place. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The sauna and pool area was superb. We ate breakfast and dinner there, and both were great. I also loved how pet-friendly they were, and how convenient the location was to the Eagle's Nest. I also appreciated the city discount card they provided.

Authentic Bavaria
This is the second time we have stayed here, and it keeps getting better! If you are looking for a quaint authentic German mountain hotel this is what you want! They are friendly and the breakfast is amazing! I highly recommend!

Tatsächlich etwas laut wegen der Verkehrslage beim geöffneten Fenster, trotzdem geschlafen wie ein Stein.
Personal großartig, sehr hilfsbereit, auskunftsfreudig und sehr sehr freundlich!
Tolles Frühstück, schöne Saunalandschaft. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Nice hotel, excellent staff, and nice continental breakfast. Did not have air condition or washer/dryer as advertised in *******. Did not know adult only meant clothing optional in pool/sauna and had a 14/17 year old booked with us prior to adult only. Would have appreciated knowing this.

An sich ein gutes preis/ leistunggerechtes Hotel. Leider fällt der männliche Service sehr von dem anderen Service ab.Frühstück durchschnittlich, Abebdessen gut, Zimmer ok, gross. Leider wird nur jeden zweiten Tag der Boden gewischt( sauerrei) Der Weg nach Berchtesgaden ist viel zu weit. Kein Restaurant in der Nähe. Licht fast ausserhalb. Allerdings ein Super Wellnessbereich

Wir hatten einen wunderbar entspannten Urlaub im Alpenhotel Fischer. Während des Aufenthalts besteht eine dauerhafte Sitzplatzreservierung im Restaurant (kein Stress zum Frühstück). Unser Zimmer war mit einer modernen Rundecke und einem großen Fernseher ausgestattet. Das bequeme Bett war durch eine halbhohe Wand zur Sitzecke getrennt. Ein Balkon mit zwei Stühlen und Tisch war ebenso vorhanden, wie eine Minibar. Das geräumige Badezimmer war mit eine ebenerdigen Dusche ( Rainshower) und einem großen Waschbecken ausgestattet. Vom Hotel aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick über Berchtesgaden und zum Watzmann.
